MadZ-iPodVideo-Converter is a very simple program that helps you convert video from various formats such as avi, wmv, ogg, qt, mov, 3gp, flv, among others, to iPod compatible MP4 files.
This application supports drag and drop and batch conversion to let you process multiple simultaneous files of different formats. It also lets you configure output settings like resolution, frame rate, audio encoder, sample rate, audio and video quality.
It presents a very nice user interface with tools that include a preview screen, sliding bars to control audio and video quality, output directory selection, add input files and configure output settings.
A good option for basic users who only want to process a batch of videos from their computer to play them on iPod devices. Advanced users might feel like there are some tools missing, like crop, trim, effects, the ability to take snapshots, merge multiple files, or shutdown your computer after a task is performed.
This is not my first choice because it lacks many features I like in video converting tools, but you may want to download the free trial available and test it yourself.
